CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga-.Police Regional Office 3 headed by PCSUPT EDGARDO TLADAO, RD, PRO3 held a coordinating conference with mall security managers and agencies to reiterate the need to implement stricter security at the shopping centers which was held on May 10, 2012 at the PRO3 Multi-purpose Hall, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Said meeting aims to strengthen security measures inside malls and improve coordination between authorities in-charge of securing the safety of shoppers.
The discussion was called to prevent repeats of daring shopping-mall robberies and previous shooting incidents inside malls.
During the open forum, PCSUPT LADAO emphasized the need for concerted efforts among all stakeholders to ensure the safety of the public inside the malls. He also cited the need to install security gadgets like closed-circuit television cameras and even metal detectors.
About seventy mall security managers and security service contractors participated in the half-day meeting.
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando Pampanga – In line with the PNP Integrated Transformation Program to produce more competent and highly- skilled enforcers, the Police Regional Office 3 under the leadership of PCSUPT EDGARDO T LADAO holds a Fun Shoot among the PNP personnel of the different police offices of the region.
The whole day competition was held on May 9, 2012 9:00 am at the PRO3 Firing Range, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
“This friendly match aims not just to enhance and test the marksmanship but also to establish camaraderie and unity among our forces,” PCSUPT LADAO.
The fun shoot was organized not just to check the participants’ accuracy and control to fire at their targets but to test their proficiency in firing and also to improve and develop their skills and techniques in firearms handling.
Camp Olivas, city of San Fernando Pampanga – through the directives of PCSUPT EDGARDO T LADAO, RD, PRO3 to all City/Provincial Directors from the different Police/City Police Offices to beef up the implementation of anti-criminality campaigns, joint of elements of PIB, Bulacan PPO and PIB, Bocaue Police Station under the direct supervision of PSSUPT FERNANDO H MENDEZ JR, PD, Bulacan PPO neutralized two Unidentified Armed Men who reportedly robbed one lending Agent of Lending 5 Incorporated Bpcaue Branch in a brief encounter on May 9, 2012 in Brgy Batia, Bocaue Bulacan.
Based on reports from Bulacan PPO, while victim identified as one JOEL DEL ROSARIO y PROCIUNCULA, 23 years old, married, a resident of Blk 25 lot 8, North Ville 5, Brgy Batia, Bulacan in Purok 4, Rodriguez Street Barangay Batia, Bulacan in Purok 4, Rodriguez St., Brgy Batia, Bocaue, Bulacan was on board his service motorcycle describe as one (1) Honda Wave Colored Gray, bearing Plate no 7140 PA and collecting money from his client, when two unidentified men armed with shotgun and caliver .38 on board a tricycle pointed a gun to him bag containing the collected money and his service motorcycle and immediately fled going towards the direction of Purok 4, Rodriguez St Brgy Batia, Bocaue Bulacan.
A surveillance team from Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Office happened to be in the area conducting patrolling and was in close coordination with Bocaue MPS regarding the incident. While said team was traversing the rough road of Rodriguez St Brgy Batia Bocaue, Bulacan , they spotted the motorcycle riding suspects approaching their direction. Intelligence operatives flagged them down but suspects alighted from their motorcycle and opened fire. An exchange of gunfire ensued which resulted in the instantaneous death of the two armed suspects.
Recovered from the suspects are one (1) Shotgun containing live ammunition, one (1) caliber .38 revolver, one (1) unit of motorcycle Honda Wave, Colored Gray bearing Plate No. 7140PA, believed to be the victim’s, one bag containing more or less Php 24,000.00 and assorted documents owned by the victim. Continuous follow-up investigation is still conducting by this office for the possible identification of demise suspects. The scene of the crime was examined by elements of Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office, and cadavers of the suspects were brought to Flavel Funeral Parlor for Autopsy.
PCSUPT LADAO commended Bulacan PPO for a job well done. He also assured the public that PRO3 will continue its campaign to eradicate all forms of criminality within the region.
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – the unwavering efforts of PRO3 PNP personnel under the overall supervision of PCSUPT EDGARDO T LADAO, RD, PRO3 to fight criminality within the region resulted to the neutralization of a notorious armed group and the confiscation of several high caliber and assorted firearms in Brgy San Agustin, City of Malolos, Bulacan on May 8, 2012.
Based on reports from Bulacan PPO, joint elements of PIB, Bulacan PPO Malolos City Police Station and HPT Bulacan PPO under the direct supervision of PSSUPT FERNANDO H MENDEZ JR, PD Bulacan PPO conducted an operation against a group of armed men reportedly holding a pot session inside a house at Stanley Ville Subdivision, Barangay San Agustin City of Malolos, Bulacan in the morning of May 8, 2012.
The operation resulted in the arrest of the following persons: RYAN DOMINGUEZ y SANTOS, 20 years old, single, a resident of Iba O’ Este, Calumpit, Bulacan: MARK MARIO LACAMBACAL y SANTOS, 21 years old, single, a native of Iba O’ Este, Calumpit, Bulacan and is presently residing at No 1471 A Mariano Street, Pateros Manila; JAMES JIMENEZ y PINTACASI, 37 years old, married, a native of General Santos City and is presently residing at Imelda Street, Novaliches, Quezon City; and ROY BLANCO y MABUYO, 27 years old, married , driver, a native of Cagayan De Oro City and is presently residing at FB De Jesus Subdivision, Novaliches, Quezon City. Confiscated from their possession are the followings: One (1) baby armalite (M16) Rifle Colt AR15 with serial number 157568; One (1) Baby armalite (M16) rifle with defaced serial number; One (1) Caliber .45 pistol with serial number 300105; One (1) Armscor Caliber .45 pistol with Serial Number 25987; Two (2) magazines for caliber .45 pistol; Ten (10) rounds of live ammunitions for caliber .45; three (3) long magazines for caliber 5.56 rifle; Three (3) short magazines for caliber 5.56 rifle; Ninety seven (97) rounds of live ammunitions for caliber 5.56 rifle; Two (2) Hand Grenades; two (2) pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride also known as “ Shabu”. Different kinds paraphernalia for use in pot session; One (1) unit of Nissan Navarra Pick Up, Colored white, bearing Plate number CSJ 33; One (1) unit of Toyota Innova, colored, bearing Plate Number ZCJ 171; One(1) unit of Subaru Impreza, colored dark gray, bearing plate number ZNX 628; and Assorted documents.
The confiscated firearms were submitted to Bulacan Crime laboratory Office for Ballistic examination, macro Etching and Cross matching. Likewise, the vehicles were processed by a SOCO team. Meanwhile, the personnel of HPT Bulacan were requested to thoroughly check the records of the confiscated vehicles I order to determine if they were stolen. The arrested suspects are presently under the custody of PIB, Bulacan PPO for proper documentation and preparation of appropriate criminal charges that will be filed against them in court.
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 under the leadership of its Regional Director, PCSUPT EDGARDO T LADAO is continuously stepping up its aggressive drive to recover and seize loose firearms in relation to the PNP’s "Oplan Paglalansag" program.
Series of police operations were conducted over the weekwhich yielded positive results. A total of six (6) assorted loose firearms with several ammunitions were confiscated and recovered in Angeles City and in the provinces of Aurora, Pampanga, and Tarlac.
Also, a case for violation of Republic Act 8294 or illegal possession of firearms and ammunition are being filed in court against the arrested suspects.
Meanwhile, PCSUPT LADAO directed all Provincial/City Directors to continue to implement its campaign against loose firearms and private armed groups so these may not be used in poll-related violence during next year’s elections.
